L’art de la fusta

“El arte de la madera” es un cortometraje documental basado en la figura del artista fallero Manolo García, el último carpintero artesano que utiliza la varilla en la Comunidad Valenciana. El documental muestra la evolución del trabajo del artista en su taller: cómo trabaja la vareta para conseguir resultados espectaculares que permanecen grabados en nuestra retina a lo largo del tiempo. Unos proyectos colosales, no sólo por sus dimensiones, sino también por el efecto que logran en la cremà, cerrando un ciclo y abriendo otro nuevo.

“The Art of the Wood” is a short documentary based on the figure of the failing artist Manolo García, the last artisan carpenter who uses the rod in the Valencian Community. The documentary shows the evolution of the work of the artist in his workshop: how does the rod work to achieve spectacular results that remain recorded in our retina over time. Some colossal projects, not only because of their dimensions, but also because of the effect they achieve on burning, closing a cycle and opening another new one.
