Madrid. Mayo de 2023. Durante una comida familiar junto a su hijo y su nieto, Carmen, una mujer de ochenta y cinco años de tremenda vitalidad pero con una visión irremediablemente trágica de la vida, recuerda a su difunto marido Rafael y cómo fue su relación a lo largo de los setenta años que pasaron juntos.
Madrid, May of 2023. While having lunch with her son and grandson, Carmen, an eighty-six-year-old woman of great vitality and an irreversibly tragic view of life, remembers her late husband Rafael and how their relationship evolved throughout the seventy years that they spent together.

Javier van Boren es un joven actor y guionista madrileño afincado en Nueva York. Formado como intérprete en el Estudio Corazza, situado en Madrid, y en el T Schreiber Studio de Nueva York, ha participado en series como “Historias para no dormir” y “Los años nuevos”. Se ha educado como cineasta en la Escuela TAI, ha escrito su primer largometraje, y hoy en día se encuentra pre-produciendo su segundo cortometraje como director, actor y guionista, cuyo rodaje tendrá lugar este verano en la gran manzana.
Javier van Boren is a young Spanish actor and screenwriter from Madrid based in New York. As a performer, he has studied at Estudio Corazza, located in Madrid, and at the T Schreiber Studio from Manhattan, and has appeared in the Spanish TV shows “Stories to stay awake” and “The New Years Eves”. He has been schooled as a filmmaker at Escuela TAI, from Madrid, has written his first feature film screenplay, and is now working on the preproduction of his second short film as a writer, director and actor, set to be shot in the big apple during the summer.
