Mi abuelo Antonio nació en la calle y fue vagabundo hasta que se casó. Siendo solo un niño, su padre y él recorrieron andando miles de kilómetros desde Valencia hasta los Pirineos para poder sobrevivir. Estuvo escribiendo sus memorias durante un tiempo pero tuvo que abandonarlas porque le afectaba mucho recordar su vida. Ahora, 75 años después, vamos a recorrer la misma ruta juntos, utilizando el cine para intentar sacar los recuerdos que están atrapados en su cabeza e intentar que acabe de escribir su libro.

My grandfather Antonio was born and lived on the street as a vagabond until he married.As a child, he and his father walked thousands of miles from Valencia to the Pyrenees in order to survive. He started writing his memoirs, but he eventually had to stop because remembering what he went through affected him too much. Now, 75 years later, I’m joining him on a trip, retracing the journey they made back then. We are using cinema to try to bring out the memories that are trapped in his mind and help him to finish writing his book.
